Sandy Paws established in 2014 is a family business run by ourselves Jonny and Irene, born from our mutual love of animals. We started our business in the coastal town of Coldingham (hence the name Sandy Paws) and have recently relocated to expand our ever growing business to nearby Auchencrow.
Sandy Paws Dog Resort at West Greenfields Auchencrow is situated in an idyllic location, which boasts 5 acres of secure doggy friendly grounds and its very own pond. We are nestled in the stunning Berwickshire countryside, with an abundance of beautiful countryside walks on our doorstep and
beach side walks only 10 minutes away! It’s truly a pets paradise!

We understand that leaving your dog for any length of time is difficult – so that’s where we come in!
Our luxury Kennel boarding service allows you to enjoy your trip, safe in the knowledge that your beloved pet is enjoying a holiday of their very own with us.
Our 11 pro thermal purpose built kennels are finished to the highest of standard with heating, soft lighting, raised beds and security cameras. Our kennels are situated in 5 acres of professionally secured doggy friendly grounds and are available for long or short stays. We are fully licensed and insured and are also happy to address individual needs and administer medication. Customers are welcome to provide their dogs own bedding for their stay and we ask that you provide your dogs own food, we have plenty storage for all types of diet. We only accept dogs that are good with others and don’t take any new bookings without first doing a free consultation and trial. We welcome consultations & trial visits via appointment giving you the opportunity to view our resort and go over your dogs requirements before their stay please contact us to arrange this.
Are you away for the day and worry about your dog being left alone at home? Then we offer the perfect solution, Sandy Paws resort is an amazing place for your dog to play while your away. Each visit will be individually tailored around your dogs needs. We accept one off and regular daycare visitors all of which are subject to availability. Pick up and drops are available within our area at an additional cost. Please contact us to arrange a visit and discuss your requirements.
Fantastic for puppies and older dogs who might not feel up to a walk, our home visits can be used to let them out, play, feed or clean up any little accidents. We are also more than happy to take care of any little jobs while we are there like popping the bins out – just ask!
Not just for pooches – We also offer home visits for other pets too. We have a vast experience in looking after pets of all shapes and sizes. Over the past few years we have cared for fish, reptiles, cats and birds and everything in between. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Our dog walking service like all the services we offer is completely tailored around you and your pet’s needs. We can walk your dog in a group, which is great for socialisation, or on their own depending on their requirements, you simply let us know what you need and we will take care of the rest!
We offer walks in a variety of locations, the beach being a firm favourite! We can offer regular walks or walks as and when you require. So, if your away for the day and not wanting to rush home, then we are happy to pop in. Transport is provided and we always do a free initial consultation prior to any bookings – please feel free to contact us to arrange this.
